Michael Minas is the director of Love Maths and has worked in education for over 25 years, providing support and guidance to thousands of educators during this time. Michael’s YouTube channel features 100 videos of engaging maths games and has attracted over a million views from teachers from across the globe. He was the editor of Prime Number from 2019 to 2021 and is a contributing author for the Open Middle and Maths300 websites.
In 2018, Michael’s ability to shape learning was recognised when he won a CHOOSEMATHS Teaching Excellence Award. He presents at a variety of conferences both within Australia and internationally. In 2023, he was a keynote speaker for the Mathematical Association of Victoria’s annual conference. Michael was also a featured speaker for the 2025 California Mathematics Council’s annual conference in Palm Springs, alongside such names as Jo Boaler, Peter Liljedahl and Pam Harris.
